1066 Landlords fight against council’s proposed licensing scheme

Landlords, agents, along with Hastings and Rye MP, Amber Rudd attended a meeting at The White Rock Hotel last week to discuss Hastings Borough Council’s (HBC) proposed Selective Licensing Scheme (SLS).

The scheme would cover ten wards where private landlords would be required to pay for a license to rent their properties at a cost of around £400. Read more.
